Was tonight the most down-to-Earth star war ever? All of our teams kept it close throughout the game, but the battle for the top spot came down to 2 teams of sci-fi fans with a wealth of wisdom. Despite multiple perfect rounds without doubling, both teams remained dominant, keeping the game exciting to the very end! And that ending was a very strong Round 7 showing for  Let the Wookie Win, giving them the $30 grand prize! The Skywalker OG's weren't far behind, grabbing the $20 2nd-place award! Rounding out the winners' circle, Elixer Bunghole took home $10 for finishing 3rd!

When the wisest wits convene to compete, literally anything can happen! Sometimes one team can seem unstoppable, undeniable, destined for victory. But even then, one round can change everything!

No one thought Sacred, Innocent, & Profane would be anything but runaway winners. Perhaps least of all Whiskey Man, who didn't start until Round 2, and who unsuccessfully doubled in another round. But their successful double in Round 6 narrowed the gap between the teams by 10 points! Suddenly, it all came down to a spellbinding final round! When the smoked cleared, Sacred, Innocent, & Profane held on for the win and the $30 prize - but Whiskey Man still did well enough to take home $20 of their own!

Whether just a funny team name or low self-esteem, The Losers proved themselves big winners! Thanks to a successful Double or Nothing bid in Round 6, plus a near-perfect Round 7, they took the top spot (and $30) over two of our regular teams - who just so happened to tie for 2nd! Both teams had to take wild guesses on the Degrassi-themed query, and Elixir bunghole logged the closer response, winning the $20 prize over Skull & Cross-Eyes, who claimed $10 for their 3rd-place finish!
