Join in on the King Trivia fun every Thursday at 7:30PM at Shadow Grove Brewing in the San Fernando Valley! This week, six teams competed for glory, bragging rights, and beer coupons that earned $5 off a tasty brew from the tap at Shadow Grove. The competition was fierce for third place, but with a 1-point lead over Under-Medicated & Overwhelmed, Schoolers returned this week to claim third place at 39 points, taking home two coupons for their efforts. Meanwhile, Blue Pegasus flexed their movie knowledge in our image identification round with a successful Double or Nothing, giving them an early lead that they clung onto for a second place finish at 49 points, receiving three coupons. But our returning champions Burger Of The Day took home the top prize at 52 points thanks in part to their knowledge of Australia and fictional boats, scoring 36 points in the back half of the game to claim a first place victory--and FIVE beer coupons! Congratulations to all our winners--and a HUGE thanks to all the players for bringing their A-game! King Trivia returned to Shadow Grove Brewing for another high-stakes series of headscratching trivia rounds featuring everything from David Beckham's career, TikTok trends, and brand colors! The competition was as fierce as ever as seven teams competed for glory--and to win beer discount coupons at Shadow Grove! With 35 points each, Golf Gods and Let's Go tied for third place, sending the game into a tiebreaker round to determine how many more individuals live in Phoenix, AZ over Montpelier, VT according to 2020 census data. By submitting a number that was only 1.6 million people off vs. submitting the word "yes", Let's Go won by default, scoring two beer discount coupons that were each worth $5 off a tasty brew at Shadow Grove! The trio at Too Bad came in at second place with an impressive 41 points, winning three coupons for their efforts. But newcomers W8ing on '28 soared into first place with a total of 47 points, taking home the grand prize of FIVE beer coupons for a total of $25 off brews at Shadow Grove.
