Pour one out for the amazing Dr. Seuss as we celebrate his B-Day here at Shadow Grove Brewing. Lots of teams came back this week, unable to resist the siren song of thirst quenching brews, delicious Mecha BBQ & Doms Cakes, and of course KING TRIVIA!!!
FOUR TEAMS claimed successful Doubles in the first round, but only What’s the Story (Morning Glory) Taylor’s Version scored a double with their knowledge of (almost all things) Whoopi.
A call of “FOUL” was eked out by one team who thought fast food should count as the connection in R5. But, alas, if you had put the full name of that senator fro FLA, you would’ve figured out the answer was specifically “pizza chains”. So sit your asses down! ; >
In the end, it was close, but What’s the Story (Morning Glory) Taylor’s Version, took first, Burger of the Day came in 2nd, and Hot Diggity Dogs placed third.
Well done everyone and thanks to Shadow Grove Brewing for being such awesome hosts every week and making this trivia THE BEST KING TRIVIA IN ALL OF SAN FERNANDO VALLEY(btwn 7:30-9:30 on Thursday nights)!

QUIZ RECAP
A lovely turnout in San Fernando for trivia tonight. Lots of celebrations and friends gathering for a good time, great brews and excellent food from Mecha BBQ and Dom’s Desserts. While most teams weren’t well versed on pictures of famous scientists, most teams new the difference between energy drinks and high fiber cereals. SO GOOD at this round that all 13 teams submitted answers in a record time of 1min:30secs, and 5 teams landed successful DOUBLES in that round! WHAT?!?! Ca-RAZY!!!
Pikachu left many teams confused in the Guess Who round and the game stayed pretty close through 5 rounds. This QM was impressed when 5 teams scored successful doubles in R6, showing their expertise in linguistics.
In the end, the MCU knowledgeable were smart enough to NOT double. Blood, Sweat & Beers finished 1st, Liquor for China claimed 2nd, and Ice Cream for Dinner took 3rd! Thanks to all who came out to play and a BIG THANK YOU ALWAYS to Shadow Grove Brewing for hosting us each week. Cheers! CC
