Newcomers Megan is Late took home 3rd place tonight, a night of mainly veterans of trivia at Short Path. Though the scores were glowing slowly at the start we ended with some pretty high scores, topped by Snake Wizards with 55. Nearly everyone nailed matching car brands to their manufacturers but no one knew three Prince movies then again, who would? That's what you can expect when attending a King Trivia trivia night, questions for the layman AND questions for devouted Prince fans.

Last night's game was ever the blowout, unlike usual. Though all teams played tough, my college friends joined for the second time and took home the gold once again. Trust me, I didn't know they were that smart either, but when gift cards are on the line they can name Pixar characters and Toni Morrison facts like it's their job! By Round 5 the 6 teams were nearly split by 10 points each, making it tough for places to change come the final couple rounds. Fun was had nonetheless and more new faces are showing up every week.

The weather is getting better so the crowds are getting bigger here at Short Path Distillery! Last night we saw the MOST teams play with us thus far. All 8 teams played to win but only three walked away with gift cards. Not only that, but I went a little CRAZIER than usual with not only one but TWO twists to the game. The bonus round was about Wordle, the word game sweeping the nation, and the second twist came in the form of a chance round a la Mario Party. Come be part of the chaos EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
