QUIZ RECAP

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I love when we have our three groups of regular rivals battling it out for the top spot! And tonight was no exception, with each group bringing their A-game to trivia. It was a game of yo-yo, which each team alternating rankings each round.

For our drinking/5-point challenge, I decided to have a little fun with a "Newlywed"-esque game because all of our regulars are pairs... Turns out Snorts Harbour knows each other the best, so 5 points went to their score, while Space Trash took the shots.

And while all the teams successfully Doubled their points in Round 7 (thanks to a sports-themed question!), it would come down to a Tie-Breaker to decide the Winner. How many points were scored in the highest ever scoring NBA game? Just ask Space Trash, because they got the closest, thus taking home the W! Congrats guys... See you all again next week.

Wow, for the first time in many, many weeks we did not have our regular (usually winners) team of Snorts Harbour playing! That might be exactly what Space Jam needed to secure the top spot... Or perhaps they would have won any way! They did secure an extra 5 bonus points for winning Cornhole round... Great job, guys. Love the Stepbrothers picture, too! And special shoutout to the Dirty Thirty Birthday crew... They were behind going in to the final round but successfully Doubled their points and nearly took home the W! So close, yet so far. They were, however, able to pull ahead of Two Stooges at the last moment. Unfortunately second and third place don't count for anything except bragging rights! Great job to all the teams, can't wait to see who wins the next match.

QUIZ RECAP

This is the 3rd week in a row that has been super competitive between our three groups of regular trivia goers! It's always fun when two or three teams are within 5-10 points of each other heading into the final round. This week Space Jam won the Cornhole challenge, giving them 5 points but still not enough to take home the W. The win would go to DaNile, who were finally able to achieve victory after being SO close the last few weeks! Newcomers Fudge Packers put up some excellent numbers throughout the entire game, and I hope they return next week as I think they have a great shot at winning. Not a good night for Snorts Harbour, but hey, you can't win them all!
