Twas the night after Christmas and at the Redd Dog, there were trvia teams drinking beer and some grog. 

Jk, I did terribly at my poetry classes, but I got one rhyme in there. We had a good night, some teams were incredibly close throughout the night! We had an in house Dutch man to read out the Dutch word for Butterfly in the 6th round (Vlinder). Straight from the Netherlands and that earned him my free drink of the night!

HOLIDAY SEASON THEMED TRIVIA AT THE REDD DOG RECAP

I learned like three days ago that all of the gifts in the twelve days of Christmas are birds, not just the first few. I guess golden rings and drummers are also types of birds and that makes that song about a crazy bird-obsessed man who bombarded some poor lady with 78 birds! What does her apartment look like?

Anyway, I had a lovely time at holiday trivia and I hope you all did too. My favorite wrong answer of the night went to Red Hot Trivia Peppers for giving "Le Christmuhs" as the French word for Christmas. Just make it as French in spelling as possible, that'll totally help.

Thanks for coming out in the cold for trivia tonight everyone! I think we all learned something tonight and that is that I cannot pronounce Peugeot to save my life. I took Spanish, not French 🤷🏼‍♀️

My free drink went to DoIt4Bay!!!! for calling Dinah Shore "Anita Spankin" and in return they gave me a lovely picture of a foot with a face on their scratch paper (last photo in the series). I love it and will be putting it on my fridge, thanks guys!

Hope to see you all for Holiday trivia next week and if not, I surely hope we all can get together for another round of trivia or even better, some Mario Velveeta 😉
