This Tuesday brought January to an end of trivia at the Stalking Horse, and joining us were 6 marvelous teams. Creamy Mystery Soup earned themselves a $20 gift card when they placed in first, and second place team Laser Cats each got to take a crowler home. A pitcher of beer was enjoyed on the spot by Vodka Jesus Do? after placing third, and the charming Limey Bastards guessed the closest without going over to the answer for my drinking round question, and got drinks around the table! Shut Up We're Wizards played a great game, as well as the sweet couple, the Foxes, who joined us while they visit LA for the week.

What a fun Tuesday night at the Stalking Horse! We had 4 awesome teams join us, and we had by far one of the closest games I have witnessed. The scores were literally one point away from each other, and a tie-breaker was needed to determine 3rd place. I also learned how to pronounce a Welsh town, thanks to our 1st place team who named themselves after it, Llanelli! They won the $20 gift card, AND they had the closest guess to the drinking round question, and got drinks around the table. Lynn+Brian, a returning team I'm excited to say, redeemed their pitcher of beer they won last time they played, and moved up to 2nd place this week! They got to take home some Stalking Horse crowlers! The winner of the tie breaker for third, was The Brainstorms, and they received a voucher for a pitcher of beer for next time. Brennan Dobak's Battlehawks were great sports and played a great game, they are another of the awesome teams to return. Cheers to many, many more!

Happy Tuesday at the Stalking Horse, happy birthdays too. Our 1st place team, The Bana Brigade, had a birthday amongst them! I busted out with my ipod, and dedicated him the Birthday song by The Beatles. No additional points were added because of the bday, they did all the hard work on their own. They won a $20 gift card, and the crowlers went home with the Penguin Party. A pitcher of beer was awarded to third place Team Allo, and the round of drinks went to Goodness Glaciers, who were just joining us at the top of the 5th.
