We're back at the Stalking Horse, and we had 5 fabulous teams to join us for the fun. I gotta say, one of my favorite things about my job, is when people shy away at first, and when they hear the first question, they grab a booklet after all, and THEN end up on top, and win a prize. That happened with our lovely couple Lynn+Brian last night, and they took home a voucher for a pitcher of beer when they came in third place. Similar with Tom and Mom, mom was excited King Trivia was there, and insisted Tom should participate, because he always gets answers right when they watch TV at home. You gotta love mom. By the second question read in the first round, he leans over and asks for a booklet. His answer even won them the drinking round! Penguin Party was head to head with Lynn+Brian the entire game, they finished behind them by one point. Ralphie Doodle Dandy took second place, winning two Stalking Horse crowlers, canned babies to take home, I love it! And in first was the Brogan Battlehawks who doubled down on the fifth round, and knocked it out of the park! They won themselves a $20 gift card.
What a great start to the new year, I am so happy to be back at Stalking Horse. We'll see you again next Tuesday!

I'm so lucky to have such a warm and loving new home at the Stalking Horse. Our first night of trivia was a lot of fun, and had five awesome teams join us for it. Yakkety Sax came in first, and won themselves some crowlers of their choice, for next time. Those are 32 ouncers baby! The Bitches came in second place, and won a pitcher of beer, for their next visit as well. Table 32 did really well coming in third place, with the Steaming Pile coming right behind them, and B Calm in last. B Calm remained so, "buttum-bump," as they did win themselves a five dollar gift card during the drinking round.
I look forward to the new year, and I hope to see some returning faces. The drinking round prize consists of all sorts of neat prizes, including a FIFTY dollar gift card that's still floating around inside a horse's head. That's right, the winner of the drinking round gets to pull their prize out of a horse's head! You just can't beat that!
