QUIZ RECAP

There was some spectacular quizzing going on in Blue Lake this week. Two teams of regulars and one team of new folks made for an intense and intimate quiz.

Secret Agent Randy Beans, aka Gruesome Twosome hit the double or nothing in round two, and took a commanding lead early, and they also got the guess who with the first clue, turning an early commanding lead into an insurmountable one.

Go Fourth may never have the same name twice, but they are by far our most consistent quizzers. They were neck and neck with Natural Blondes throughout the evening, and pulled out second place with a perfect seventh round.

It was a match for the ages, and we hoped the quizzing would never end, but it did, because there's only seven rounds. Pretty sure never ending quizzing wouldn't be free.

QUIZ RECAP

Seven teams entered the proverbial quizzing ring in Blue Lake on Tuesday, all competing for the top prize. Heavy Beans pulled out the double or nothing in round two and lept ahead of the rest of the teams early.

This was Heavy Beans third consecutive week at trivia, and they have proven themselves to be quite the competitors. Other regulars Gruesome Twosome thought Secret Window was the Ninth Gate and it cost them the double or nothing.

After three rounds Heavy Beans was still way out in front, with The Einsteins and Giants in 2nd and 3rd. The fourth round proved to be crucial, as usual, and after four rounds Heavy Beans was followed by Yogi & Boo Boo and Gruesome Twosome, which is pretty much how the quiz ended as well. Nobody was ever able to bridge the gap created in round two, although every single person in the room thought Eddie Murphy was in Jamie Foxx's video instead of Ron Howard. They were properly chastised for their racism.

QUIZ RECAP

Another fabulous night of quizzing in Blue Lake with three returning teams. The three strongest teams in Blue Lake Casino history came together to fight for the quizzing crown (there is no crown.)

Mostly thanks to one contestants obsession with Andy Garcia - Gruesome Twosome emerged victorious at the end of the battle, with the other teams running home with their tails between their legs, licking their wounds and getting ready for next time.
