Mucho fun was had by all at Lilly Rose in the basement of The Wayfarer Hotel Wednesday night! You wouldn't think "Hey, how would you like to follow me into the basement?" would be a good line to lure people to play trivia, but it is! Let's talk!
One round down but down to thrown down were latecoming fourth place finishers Pulpo Team with 24 points. They didn't play round 1 but emotionally didn't need it. They had previously been hanging out on the roof and then ended up in the basement. Literally and figuratively! In third place with a score of 48 points was returning team Pacific Rim Job. Any team that makes me cringe to say their name deserves a special prize of their own! In second place with 67 points was a force of one but a force of fun called Lawntawn. I saw literal msoke billowing out her ears during round 5. And in first place, dominating the night with several successful double or nothings, was 84 point-having Massive Eshrektion! They were like the Sorbonne with alcohol! Scary!

There was chemistry! There was Buffy! There was Jesus! What other trivia quiz can say the same? Some knew some answers! Some didn't! All three teams competed! All three teams won. In third place, from the Great White North was The Canadians with 20 points. In second with 42 was the one-man army known as Nick. Fear him! And in first with a score of 49 was Bad Hombre.
