QUIZ RECAP

Fun times had by all at the Lilly Rose in the basement of the Wayfarer Hotel! Four teams showed up to have a brain fight with one another and much fun was had. The drinking round was a competition to see who could do the best reading of Samuel L Jackson's iconic line from Snakes On A Plane. Los Frijolitos won by doing it in Spanish. I have no idea what they said, but they won! 

Third in the night but first in our hearts was Los Frijoleros with 29 points! Next in second was Floooods! with 36 points. And destroying everyone with 47 points was Bayou Grandma! Come back next week for more King Trivia fun at the Lilly Rose!

QUIZ RECAP

These teams were glad they chose the Lilly Rose last night! A drinking round consisting of players doing their best impressions of Dave Bautista (from round 2) truly set the pace!

Arriving late but swinging hard nonetheless was Los Yoshis with 16 points. Just missing first place by one point was the feisty Track Shawties with 29 points. And confidently dominating the night was Fanny Pack Jackie with a winning 30 points!

QUIZ RECAP

Another great turn-out at Lilly Rose (in the basement of the Wayfarer Hotel in downtown LA) last night! Eight teams (almost nine!)! Much fun was had by all. Let's talk!

I think it's been something like YEARS since I've had a tie-breaker for a quiz. But tonight, there was a three-way tie for third place! And people stayed to hear the winner! Putting the teams' Pac-Man knowledge to the test, Swamp Wenches, Don Mario and Shalom, Rejects! hashed it out. Talk about gobbling! "How many dots, including the power pellets in the corner, are there in the OG Pac-Man maze?" Swamp Wenches, with their guess of 280 came the closest to the correct answer. I've never been more excited about who was gonna take third in my life!

In a strong second was Where's Ferrari? with 44 points. Who knew confusing Boys II Men with TLC would cost you a win? And dominating the night were late arrivals but on-time winners Sauvignon Blanc with a close 46 points. Throughout the night, these two teams eyed and nodded at each other like they were in Fight Club or something. Game recognizing game ALL NIGHT!
