Thursday has arrived which means that last night there was an incomparable game of King Trivia at Two Saints Tavern. The night of trivia was truly like none other; it seemed as though the teams prior to starting the game chose an enemy team they would rival against throughout the entirety of the game. Team "Looking for catsitter" and team "the truth is unstoppable" had a vendetta against each from the very beginning as they found themselves tied at the end of almost each and every round, whereas the battle between the "Tiny Dancers" and "Lavaboys and Sharkgirl" grew even fiercer as the game went on as they found themsleves bettering one another by only a point or two at the end of each round. Miraculously, after the final round, the scores were at a standstill as we had a tie for both 1st and 3rd place, which sent us spiraling into the "Tie-Breaker" round. This round entailed the teams wracking their brains trying to figure out how many words are printed in the Oxford English Dictionary, which resulted in Team "Looking for catsitter" pushing Team "the truth is unstoppable" to 2nd place, and our resident 3rd place winners the "Tiny Dancers" claiming their all-too-familiar position.

Another week of Trivia in the books and this one was surely a spectacle. The bar was packed with people drinking away their sorrows from the embarrassing efforts of the Boston Celtics from the night prior, which only meant there was more participants for a great night of trivia. Every team had on their thinking caps going into tonight's rounds; the "double or nothings" were flying back and forth between the team's and some hit greatly and others missed terribly. Jumping from rounds based on the cover illustrations of classic novels to a "Guess Who" round revolving around the celebrated actor Dev Patel, the teams found themselves squaring up and knocking down most of questions being thrown at them. Going into the last two rounds, all teams found themselves contending for a top 3 spot. The second to last round entailed the teams matching a famous musician to their famous nickname, which resulted in Team "thanks for coming maria" and "The Tiny Dancers" hitting the "Double or Nothing," which placed them in 1st and 2nd, respectively, going into final round, which is where "The Four Skins" clutched up with a huge "double or nothing" round which placed them in 2nd in the final rankings above our resident 3rd place winners "The Tiny Dancers"

Another eventful evening of Trivia passes at Two Saints. This weeks game took place during the biggest game of the Celtics season, which meant the teams had the almost impossible task of wracking their brain through our tough rounds of trivia while also trying to keep their cool as the Celtic's embarrassed themselves on live TV. Despite the embarrassment, a great night of Trivia was had. Each team held their own as we made our way through the rounds from one on famous demons to another on childrens books. Each team was playing well and all found themselves in proximity of 1st place, but the last round was the big separator, as "the gong gang" and "TDM" listed out the most popular hotels in Las Vegas, which cemented their places in 1st and 2nd, respectively. However, in addition to our 1st and 2nd place prize, a special prize was brought for the 3rd place winners per the request of our resident 3rd place winners, the "Tiny Dancers." 3rd place was decided by a Tie-Breaker round, which resulted in - of course -- the "Tiny Dancers" taking home the 3rd place prize they've been dying for over the past month.
