QUIZ RECAP

It was another beautiful night for trivia at Woodstock's in Isla Vista, California! September 23rd marked the official return to on-campus classes for students at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Our players, most of whom are students, shared their joy and positive energy throughout the game, making it a light, yet competitive environment. 

Team Sigmas On Sabado 2 (#34512), who nailed the final round, snagged third place. Team Dream Team (#34494), who excelled in the matching round, earned second place. And Team Rolling Thunder Dynamite Mega Ultra Kick (#34492), who reigned supreme in round four, finished in first place. This week's team spirit award, which doesn't currently have a plaque or a ribbon, goes to Team Utility Monsters (#34519). This team kept their spirits high and their cheers loud, which are both traits fine trivia teams! 

Several guests expressed their interest in returning for future games, especially as an escape from the hectic atmosphere of college. Isla Vista is once again a bustling college town, and the local Gauchos know King Trivia is here as an end of the week kickback!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a great night at Woodstock's in Isla Vista, California! Last night's trivia was the first game since the start of the pandemic, and it was clear everyone was happy to be back! Seven teams, full of enthusiasm and team spirit, competed throughout the night. Even when the questions were tough, these teams were strong. History, geography, and wildly specific pop culture references didn't faze these players. Though there were no plaques to give out, Team Chloe's Biceps (#33823) earned "Most Team Spirit" due to their fierce desire to succeed together, and their constant cheering. Team Poh (#33794), who excelled in Marvel trivia, placed third place. Team Chloe's Biceps (#33823), who annihilated the geographical questions, secured second place. And Team Wildcats (#33820), who reigned victorious in the celebrity trivia, finished in first place. Several guests, who were simply enjoying pizza and beer at the end of a long week, shared their interest in the upcoming King Trivia events and hoped to play in the coming weeks. We hope to see more teams at Woodstock's in Isla Vista next Thursday night!
