Oh, we had a FUN crowd tonight!! 🥳 We had 18 teams and 75 players join us for a romp down trivia lane. In Round 1, we named all of the soda brands I've ever heard of, and even a few I hadn't! 😳 Four teams tied for 1st: You Gotta Be Kitten Me, Woody Nuggs, Epic Fail, and Custy Munts. In Round 2, pizza made it to the big screen, and when I read the answers, we heard a collective say "The Clawwwww" as the player wearing a Toy Story alien hat celebrated that Pizza Planet had made the cut. You Gotta Be Kitten Me and Olive's Grumble tied for 1st with Dinosaur Bonanza rounding out the podium in 3rd. In Round 3, we learned a few things about vampires and beans... and that we did not have a big baseball crowd tonight, lol! Our top three teams all tied for 1st! In Round 4, two teams got the name at the 10 point level, and we gave a shout out to Custy Munts and Glittersmuggler - a team that was actually just part of our *other* glitter team (what, you don't have two glitter teams??) signed in to see things and just submitting non-answers, but was so excited that she recognized our mystery person right away that she joined the game for real! The 10 pointer gave Custy Munts a boost all the way to the top, with You Gotta Be Kitten Me hanging in there in 2nd and Olive's Grumble and Holden Magroin tied for 3rd. In Round 5, two teams found the connection: You Gotta Be Kitten Me and Custy Munts. You Gotta Be Kitten Me used a Double-or-Nothing to claw their way back to the top, leaving Custy Munts in 2nd and Olive's Grumble in 3rd. In Round 6, we went *back* to the big screen - we just can't resist that popcorn! Our top two teams held their spots, while Epic Fail proved they weren't one and took 3rd. We also noted that our top 3 teams and our bottom two teams had all used a Double-or-Nothing that round... See if you can work out which three teams got the points. 😉 In Round 7, I was asked the BEST clarification question everrrrrr, by not one but TWO teams: "How do you define 'water'?" 😂😂😂 It made sense in the moment, I swear! In the end, our top three teams held their positions, with Epic Fail in 3rd, Custy Munts in 2nd, and You Gotta Be Kitten Me in 1st. We voted on our top two contenders for Best Team Name, and We Are All Wearing Silly Hats Don't Look won the prize, with Flickin The Bean getting a consolation candy prize. What a night! Our crowd of 21 teams and 89 total players was enthusiastic and so much fun! Round 1 had us adoring hopping bunnies... and elephants? Four teams started off tied for 1st: The Pie Holes, The Lab Cats, The Dogs Are Barking (arf arf), and Hip Hop Hopeless. Man, some fantastic team names tonight! Round 2 was all about tit for Tats, and Big TILLY stole the lead, with four teams tying for 2nd: The Lab Cats, The Dogs Are Barking (arf arf), Porter, and Hip Hop Hopeless. Round 3 was a cat and mouse game, and... I did it. I said Voldemort's name out loud. Big TILLY held 1st, while Porter and Hip Hop Hopeless tied for 2nd. In Round 4, just one team got the correct name at the 10 point level, so big shout out to Pakalolo, also the team with the best sweater of the night! Hip Hop Hopeless snatched 1st place, and Plainvanillas and Big TILLY tied for 2nd. In Round 5, two teams got the connection, while a nearby Canadian was especially kicking himself for missing it. Shout out to Plainvanillas and Hip Hop Hopeless for figuring that out. Hip Hop Hopeless kept 1st, Plainvanillas took 2nd, and Slime Me Daddy oozed into 3rd. Yup, that's three teams tonight with Daddy in the name, folks. Three. We also had Big Daddy, and Big Daddy's Daddy. Like I said, we had a fun crowd out tonight! In Round 6, teams Pawsitively loved the questions, and several teams went Double-or-Nothing. The Dogs Are Barking (arf arf) landed in 1st (which just makes sense, given the round and their team name!), We Have a Warrant seized 2nd, and Dig It! carved out 3rd. With our top 6 teams each just one point apart, it really was anybody's game going into the final round. And then, Round 7, it all came down to the UK and Crypto. The Dogs Are Barking (arf arf) held 1st, and Dig It! managed to tie with We Have a Warrant, so it came down to an Encanto-ing tie breaker moment. We Have a Warrant had a guess just $4 million off from the answer (trust me, in this case that was close! 😂), leading them to 2nd place victory, but of course Dig It! still got a prize for 3rd. Coolest Beans in the Pot won the prize for Best Team Name, with The Pie Holes as runners up getting candy to shove in... well, their pie holes. It was a great night, and I can't wait to see you all again next week!

QUIZ RECAP
We had 19 teams with 73 human players, plus one adorable pup, join us for a fantastic night of trivia! We started off the night with a 5-way tie for 1st between DIG IT! (A team of archeologists), Tater Tots, Team Brazil, The Fantastic Four, and We're Leaving By 10:30. Round 2 was about giants of all shapes and batting averages. Tater Tots took the lead, with The Fantastic Four and Team Brazil tied for 2nd. Also, we explained that Freddie's Royal Butt Scritches was, in fact, regarding the adorable dog Freddie, whose birthday it was, and that all he wanted for his birthday was butt scritches. A roaring cheer went up for Freddie, who is now friends with everyone at Woodstocks, and if you missed this week's trivia, you missed out on some serious cuteness. Anyways, back to trivia and horrendous puns. Round 3 was a (Baja) Blast! Tater Tots held 1st with almost double the points of the team behind them, Team Brazil held 2nd, and The Fantastic Four slid down to 3rd. In Round 4, four teams got the correct name at the 10 point level: Dingos, Tater Tots, We're Leaving By 10:30, and We've Been Trying to Contact You About Your Car's Extended Warranty. Tater Tots held 1st, while DIG IT! and We've Been Trying to Contact You About Your Car's Extended Warranty took over 2nd. In Round 5, four teams found the connection: Excuse Me, My Brain Is Full; The Fantastic Four; We're Leaving By 10:30 (and right after this round, they held to their team name and bedtime); and We've Been Trying to Contact You About Your Car's Extended Warranty. We also had my favorite wrong answer of the night: Admiral Ackbar's *other* famous quote, "oh shit" 😂 The leaderboard stayed the same with the addition of Team Brazil joining a 3-way tie in 2nd. Round 6 had us seeing double, and Tater Tots held first with a 21 point lead, leaving them untouchable for the final round. DIG IT! kept 2nd as the rest of the leaderboard tie moved to 3rd. And then Round 7, it all came down to SPACE (Space space space.... Gotta have that echo!) 3rd place went to our favorite spam callers: We've Been Trying to Contact You About Your Car's Extended Warranty. 2nd place went to DIG IT! And no surprises here, 1st place went to Tater Tots. Also no surprise, best team name (and best 4-legged team member) went to Freddie's Royal Butt Scritches. Congratulations all!
