Another great night down in the books! We had 27 teams and 138 total players, plus Megan our super awesome rep from Sierra Nevada with some swag! In Round 2, Meryl Streep blew some minds. Tater Tots took the lead, with Will Teach 4 Pizza just behind and I Thought This Was Speed Dating in 3rd. Then I announced a special contest in honor of tomorrow being April Fool's Day: Write out the best prank you ever pulled. In Round 3, we went a cappella with Boyz II Men, and I Thought This Was Speed Dating took 1st with our other 2 lead teams tied for 2nd. Speed Dating also got a special prize from our rep for being the team leading at the halfway point. In Round 4, two teams figured it out at the 10 point level - shout out to Tater Tots and Da Breakfast Club for that! Tater Tots took back 1st, Will Teach 4 Pizza held 2nd, and Da Breakfast Club popped into 3rd. Then the top 3 best pranks were announced. Congrats to Chickenman from Five Skin Boys, Taebird from CharcuterieCoochie, and George from Will Teach 4 Pizza! In Round 5, two teams found the connection - well done Will Teach 4 Pizza and Will Smith's Right Hand! Our top 3 teams stayed the same. In Round 6, gaming geeks had their glory, and the podium held their spots. And in Round 7, it all came down to brands. Da Breakfast Club managed a Double-or-Nothing to take 1st place, Tater Tots slid down to 2nd, and Will Teach 4 Pizza came in 3rd. We had many a great option for Best Team Name, including 3 Will Smith references. The winner was Will Smith's Right Hand, with Will Smith's Right Palm as a close runner up. Shout out to other contenders including I Drop Babies On Purpose, CharcuterieCoochie, and Let's Get Quizzical. Congrats to all and I'll see you next week!

Thursday nights trivia was bananas! Congratulations to all the teams who played tonight. We had 18 teams duel it out for gold, silver, and bronze (aka pint glasses and Woodstocks coupons). Congratulations to the first place winner, Slugby. Even though bread did not suffice as in answer you still made it through. Also, congratulations to our second place winner Tater Tots and our third-place winner Fully Torqued. Tonight's winner of best team name was Molotov Cocktease. After around four, we had a sweet escape as we listen to no doubts song spiders. Then we got rick rolled as somebody queued up never gonna give you up. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!! 💚 Most of our regular teams didn't make it in tonight, but we had lots of new faces happy to play and enjoy $9 pitchers! In Round 1, our Irish author question had answers ranging from St Patrick to Ed Sheeran, so it was clear it was gonna be a fun night! In Round 2, Beto O'Rourke was renamed "Sexy Mark Zuckerberg" and The Unlucky Ones had an ironic name as they took 1st place, followed by St Paddy's Daddies and The Woodcucks. Round 3 tested our medals as we had to think back to the Olympics. In Round 4, Survey says... 3 teams knew it at the 10 point level. Congrats to teams Arac, 50 Shades of Green, and No Soliticing 69. 50 Shades of Green took over 3rd place. Then we paused for a Most Festive contest of folks wearing green, judged by Woodstocks staff. It was a VERY close contest, with team Dropkick Bussys having the entire team dressed up and team The Lucky One's also having a birthday, but 50 Shades of Green's enthusiasm pushed them over the top and they took home the pot of gold (aka a pint glass and some gift certificates). In Round 5, seven teams found the St Patty's Day connection. 50 Shades of Green moved up to 2nd place, now just a few points behind the Unlucky Ones, and No Soliticing 69 took 3rd. We sang Happy Birthday to Riley of team Ginger Tits, who put "Happy Birthday Riley" as their answer for every question that round. In Round 6, thankfully we all knew what month St Patrick's Day was, but a few players owe their mom an apology for not knowing Mother's Day! And 50 Shades of Green took 1st place. And then in Round 7, it all came down to Whiskey. The highest score was 9, which kept 50 Shades of Green in 1st with 73 points (and calling out "we overshot by 4"), The Unlucky Ones in 2nd with 65 points, and No Soliticing 69 had 3rd with 62 - also disappointed they hadn't hit their goal of 69 points. There were a lot of great, festive names for Best Team Name, but far and away the one that got the most laughter and applause was Dropkick Bussys. Thanks for spending your holiday with us!
