Well tonight was a fun night of trivia! We had 21 teams dig deep in their brains for the answers to our questions. That's right. Our teams selfied their sticks, they lived, laughed, loafed, they guessed who, they found the connection, they second guessed and they binged! But only three teams found victory. For most of the night the girls were in first but were fiercely swept away. Our victors tonight were ucsc womens club soccer (go slugs!), in second place your moms a lie and in third donuts. Another fun and successful night here at Woodstock's Santa Cruz! We had 21 fierce teams play for the BEST prizes. Why's that? Because the MAH graciously brought soon a-MAH-zing prizes like a Hershel tote with a Santa Cruz logo and free admission to the MAH. It was head and head for a while but Force Majure came in first with Snidely Wipelash edging in second and Pink Pandas in third. QUIZ RECAP
We had 22 teams and 106 players brave the pouring rain of an atmospheric river to hang with us for a great night of pizza and trivia! We ID’ed some twins, puzzled over board games, and talked football. Only one team found the connection this week, so a special shout out to The Real Housewives of Santa Cruz, who also took home 1st place! 2nd place went to Fifty Black Slicked Back Hairwigs, and 3rd place went to Super Weenie Hut Jr. We started off with TWO teams named Ben Dover, and had lots of fun seeing what names they paired with when their scores were tied. Since one of them left early, the Best Team Name prize went to the Ben Dover team that stayed, who changed their name to Mr. Mike Lit Is Here for scoring purposes. Next week, we will have members of the MAH (Museum of Art & History) with extra special prizes like totes and discounted memberships, so you don’t want to miss it!
