QUIZ RECAP

Last night was another great "holiday time" edition of King Trivia at G34.3 Brewing Company, with our largest turn out yet at 20 people!

While we only had 5 teams, and 1 of the teams did unfortuantely have to leave early, 2 of the teams were new to G34.3, as well as King Trivia, and they happened to be the 2 teams that came in first and second for the night: Quizzy Borden & The Whacks, and Ravenclawsome!

Here are a couple of highlights from last night:

Here in Virginia, we are experiencing a bit of unseasonably warm weather. We got to take advantage of this by keeping the door and some windows open for a really nice breeze that kept us all in a good mood throughout the night.

Our winning team, Quizzy Borden & The Whacks, had been spending their time before the night began trying to find the perfect team name. Some standouts included Forrest Stumped, Quiztopher Robin, and Trivia Newton John.

Some of our regular teams (Oddballs and Drunk Rockers) brought backup this week. Each of their teams doubled in size this week, bringing extra friends with them to help try to secure their usual victories.

Next week being Christmas, we're expecting a lot of teams to come and play, so hopefully it will continue to be the blast that it has been at G34.3!

QUIZ RECAP

As usual, we had another wonderful night of trivia at G34.3 Brewing Company this past Thursday night!

We are fully into the month of December now, which means the bar was decked out in holiday decorations, with lights, garland, Christmas trees and even more all around.

There were some new teams joining us this week, so even though 2 teams did unfortunately have to leave early, we all still had a great time throughout the night.

Here are a few standout moments from the night:

One of our new teams showed up excited to play, but realized upon start that not one of them had a fully charged cellphone! While we supplied them with the physical booklets and handouts, they chose to live on the edge and run out their batteries! Thankfully, a rival team was able to supply a charger, and all was well.

The playlist we rock to seems to have some fan favorites in it, as there is usually at least 1-2 songs that get a few people singing out loud together. This week, those songs Sweet Caroline, I'm Just A Kid, and the Friends theme song (played during our handout round).

All things said and done, we had slightly smaller group this week, but continued to have just as much fun as always!

Now I know where all of the fiercest trivia competitors have been hiding out: this brewery in Lorton, Virginia. G34.3 Brewing company hosted an amazing selection of beer and a brilliant and exuberant array of trivia players. With a couple double or nothings and rises and falls on the leaderboard, this was a trivia night to remember.
