QUIZ RECAP

As usual, we had another wonderful night of trivia at G34.3 Brewing Company this past Thursday night!

We are fully into the month of December now, which means the bar was decked out in holiday decorations, with lights, garland, Christmas trees and even more all around.

There were some new teams joining us this week, so even though 2 teams did unfortunately have to leave early, we all still had a great time throughout the night.

Here are a few standout moments from the night:

One of our new teams showed up excited to play, but realized upon start that not one of them had a fully charged cellphone! While we supplied them with the physical booklets and handouts, they chose to live on the edge and run out their batteries! Thankfully, a rival team was able to supply a charger, and all was well.

The playlist we rock to seems to have some fan favorites in it, as there is usually at least 1-2 songs that get a few people singing out loud together. This week, those songs Sweet Caroline, I'm Just A Kid, and the Friends theme song (played during our handout round).

All things said and done, we had slightly smaller group this week, but continued to have just as much fun as always!

Now I know where all of the fiercest trivia competitors have been hiding out: this brewery in Lorton, Virginia. G34.3 Brewing company hosted an amazing selection of beer and a brilliant and exuberant array of trivia players. With a couple double or nothings and rises and falls on the leaderboard, this was a trivia night to remember.

Tonight's trivia night at G34.3 Brewing Company was our biggest night yet! And since the bar will be closed next Thursday for Thanksgiving, this served as a holiday quiz night as well for everyone!

We had more teams and more players tonight than we ever have as word of our trivia nights seems to be spreading around the area. This was also our most competitive night yet, with lead changes happening after almost every round!

Here are some highlights from a great night:

Tonight, I got to meet the bars official mascot, Ronaldo! He's a great little unicorn friend who helps hold your beer for you. But be careful! He has been known to steal sips from your stein if you're not looking!

Everyone seemed to be really into the playlist we had going for the night, with small sing-a-long's breaking our for American Pie, Stacy's Mom, and Biz Markie's Just A Friend.

This week we had some VERY confident teams willing to use the double-or-nothing option, some to their great success, and some to very disappointing results.

Again, with next Thursday being Thanksgiving, we will not be meeting for trivia night. But we've got a great group of people looking forward to coming back in 2 weeks and taking the quiz with us once again!
