QUIZ RECAP

This game started with scores all over the place, but Exit Strategy doubled to get a strong start. Fudge/Vanilla should have doubled, a common rookie mistake. In Round 2, nearly every team got a respectable 6 points. Round 3 seemed to separate the pack, and actually predicted the eventual winners.

We then went into a difficult Guess Who Round. No teams got the answer until Team Scream Queen, Exit Strategy, and We Drink And We Know Things got the 6 point clue. Round 5 saw another strong showing from Exit Strategy who were now in the lead by 8 points.

Then there was the drinking round, and Team Scream Queen won the free round of drinks by showing off their rock paper scissors skills. Where's Sebastian made a bold move with a double or nothing in Round 6, but unfortunately it didn't pay off. They were now in fifth place, but they could make up for it in Round 7. Luckily for them, they did and finished in third place. The second place spot was claimed by We Drink And We Know Things, with Exit Strategy taking the coveted first place prize. QUIZ RECAP

It's the third week of trivia at Brewery Draconum! It was a fun night of challenging questions. It started as usual, with Boner Thugz N' Harmony nailing the first round with a double or nothing. Saxon Waxon Flaxon should've doubled, but they'd have to settle for the 6 points. Most teams performed the same in Round 2, but Dunder-Mifflin A-Team could only identify two of the detective shows.

Their bad luck continued in Round 3. Maybe they should listen to some more Beatles while handling the accounts at Dunder-Mifflin. Scores were pretty close at this point, except for Boner Thugz N' Harmony; who had a five point gap in between them and 2nd place. Cool Arrows and Yorkshire Terriers gained a helpful ten points in the Guess Who Round.

The score sheet was shaken up in Round 5. Dunder-Mifflin A-Team made up for a shaky start by gaining 20 points, but they'd have a lot of work to do if they wanted to be in the money. Especially because We Drink And We Know Things also doubled to become the new leaders in the same round. We took a break from the trivia to play a classic improv game called "Questions." Contestants had to have conversations with each other using only questions, but if they messed up, they were eliminated.

Rounds 6 and 7 were played, and we had our winners! In first was We Drink and We Know Things, with Boner Thugz N' Harmony in second, and Cool Arrows in third. Yorkshire Terriers were just four points away from taking third. Congratulations to the winners, and thank you everyone for a suspenseful game if trivia.

QUIZ RECAP

It was 7:00 on a Monday night at Brewery Draconum, which meant it was Trivia Night! It was a small mix of newcomers and returning teams. Veterans Boner Thugz N' Harmony showed up to win, after placing 2nd last week. They were joined by Draconum, Hanalei, Fast Freddy's, and Rancho Deluxe. The first round kicked off with a close contest, but Boner Thugz N' Harmony made the same mistake every time I've seen them play: a perfect first round, but a failure to double. Two teams managed to identify all of the athletes-turned-actors. Boner Thugz N' Harmony learned from the last round and sucessuccess doubled, but newcomer Rancho Deluxe didn't. Luckily he maintained his 2nd place spot for this round, but could he keep it up?

The table didn't change in Round 3, as every team grabbed 5 out of a possible 6 points. Some teams were tested during the Guess Who round. Rancho Deluxe and Fast Freddys had to use all the clues before guessing Star Lord. Boner Thugz N' Harmony increased their lead with a surprising correct answer after just the first clue. Teams did well in Round 5, but none as good as Fast Freddys who earned themselves double points. They were coming after Boner Thugz N' Harmony, but would it be enough? We'd have to find out after the drinking round.

A representative from each team came up and were presented with a challenge. They had to name band with names that only have one word. Boner Thugz N' Harmony came out as the winners, earning the best kind of drinks... Free drinks! Fast Freddy's and Hanalei did well on the round, netting 7 points each. They must be well-read to do that well in this round. The final round was based on something people think they know well, pizza! The top three we're mostly locked in place, but Rancho Deluxe still had a chance. Unfortunately, he could only name 4 of the top 12 pizza chains. He still did great in the game. He earned 33 points playing solo, an impressive feat.

In the end, Boner Thugz N' Harmony came out on top, followed by Fast Freddys and Hanalei. Congratulations to the winners, and everyone else who came out for an exciting game of King Trivia!
