QUIZ RECAP

I'm sorry about the late posting, y'all, but I just found my way out of the escape room! It was a perfect night with all the teams being registered and good to go. I was even on time, and the game was underway!

That Winter Olympics round at the end left me with some questions I couldn't completely answer, but we made our way through it. At the end of the night Team Unicorn hung on to third with 45. Christine Says Holla! embed up in second at 49, and Flaming Toxic Trivia Monkeys blasted their way to first with two successful doubles for a total of five perfect rounds for 66.

Come out next week to see if we can get any participants from Alpha Centauri to join our game!

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight we added a couple rules. First, assume that, when I ask for names, I want first and last unless I say otherwise. Second, no phones are to be used at all during rounds. We also got top see Meredith try her hand at round 7, as she is considering becoming a quizmaster. So many dissenting cries, but I made sure there were no chances of cheating or favoritism. I think she did a good job.

In the first round, we had two double attempts; one was successful, the other not so much. With ten different perfect scores throughout the game, it was a battle to the finish. The Winestein Bears took third in their first time playing with 45. Lords Of Winterfell were in closer contest for the win until they faltered in round 6 to end the game at 53. At the end of the night, Alcoholocaust strolled through round 7 after doubling up to 69 in round 6, and ending the game with 74.

Holy Jesus, can I piss people off! I try to be fair in my rulings, but someone is always going to feel slighted. We also found out just how much it costs for a night of fun with me: $5.00.

Flaming Toxic Trivia Monkeys missed me saying that I needed first and last names in round 5, and would have successfully doubled down to end up with 80 for the night. Instead, they ended up with 60 to land in second place. Third place went to Hell If I Know with 55, and Christine Says Holla took first with 65.

Expect some more explicit rules for next week when we also find out what happens when you try to make thermite at home.
