QUIZ RECAP
Tonight, we tried something new. Sure, most of you have your King Trivia team numbers, but tonight, you also got your ordered numbers. When there are lots of teams, this makes scoring go quicker. Let's see if we can get this whole thing down to thirty minutes. I'm taking auctioneer lessons, so psy attention!
I'd like to apologize to Team Unicorn. If you remember, I tried to give them 2 instead of 8 points. I often tally up the missed answers and subtract that number from the total number of questions, but I ended up putting the total wrong on my score sheet. Luckily, no one had to get physical with me.
Third place went to Team Unicorn with 51. Second went to the Downtowners with 53. Alcoholocaust took first with the bodacious and totally not bogus score of "69, dudes!" Station!

It's been getting packed in here, and that's a good thing. Keep bringing out more people, and let's make trivia great again! With 11 teams, the competition was fierce.
Tonight's top three teams were only separated by four points. Alcoholocaust got third with 54. Team Unicorn took defend with 57, and got edged out by one point. Flaming Toxic Trivia Monkeys, working on two successful doubles, emerged victorious with 58 after being in the middle of the pack for most of the game.
Props to Lords of Winterfell, Alcoholocaust, and Team Unicorn for successfully doubling down. There were some missed opportunities by Christine Says Holla! and Average GI Joes that could have really changed the game, but hindsight is 20/20.
No man is an island unto himself, and this holds true in trivia. Tonight, we found out how smart your favorite quizmaster really is. It turns out that it's NOT just having the answers in my hands. My final score, with no one else to help, was 33, and I'd have come in tied for 8th. Imagine what I could do if there were TWO of me!

Sorry for the late post trivia people. My flu has my brain cloudy. That's what high-grade NyQuil will do to you.
It was a night to remember, as I asked you to keep your hands and mouth to yourself, or at least off of me. I'm a hugger, but I don't want people getting sick because of me.
One team, The New Losers, got called away to work at the end of round 6, leaving 7 teams to duke it out. In the end, Happy Cat Shoots Harps took home their first award with third place at 39. Alcoholocaust came in second with 40, and Lords of Winterfell bright home first place with 42.
I'm sorry about being stingy with my body and affection, but I'll make up for it next week. Until then, keep on learning; you never know when it'll pay off.
