Tonight's winning team almost hit the century mark! Congrats Counter Intelligence on winning 1st place! They finished with three consecutive doubles and scored an impressive 94 points for the win. Counter Intelligence won $255 for being the smartest team in Long Beach on a Tuesday night. All Night Rockers had the lead early on. Like early early on. They took 2nd place (78 points) and won $50. Team Whiskey Quizness had GNO (Guys Night Out) and won Free Frinks for 3rd place (76 points). And in last/not least place, the Mother Fs won a Free Pizza. To quote Richard, "Sorryyy, Bixby!"

Happy Valentine's Day! Romance was in the air tonight, especially for our winning team. Congrats Team Get In The Van for winning 1st place! They scored five doubles including the last three rounds. Get In The Van finished with a sexy 92 points and won the $$$. Team Amigos used a couple late doubles and came in 2nd place. They scored 75 points and won $50. All Night Rockers took 3rd (73 points) and, begrudgingly, won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, Team Falcons won a Free Pizza. This was the Falcons first (and hopefully, not last) time joining us at DiPiazza's. Special thanks to our teams who brought Valentine's bags tonight! We had an EGGcellent time at trivia tonight, some teams more than others. After a controversial Round 6 (match soup/salad to its unique ingredient), Team Counter Intelligence won 1st place. They scored two doubles late and won with a SPAMtastic (TOO SOON) score of 65 points. The Mother Fs came in 2nd place (58 points) and won $50. All Night Rockers took 3rd (54 points) and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, We the People won a Free Pizza. Not sure if they'll add Spam or an egg to their pizza, but only won can be the unique ingredient.
