QUIZ RECAP

It's a good/great thing that our winning team stayed tonight. Congrats Maybe We'll Stray on winning 1st place! They scored four successful doubles and finished with an impressive 83 points. Maybe We'll Stay will be staying longer now that they won $205 for 1st place. Keyhole Assist took 2nd place (64 points) and won $50. All Night Rockers came in 3rd place (63 points) and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, We the People won a Free Pizza for having the lower/lowest score.

Good evening, and thank you to all the great teams at DiPiazza's who made this substitute host right at home.

Tonight's game was an amazing collection of players and teams from across the generations, who all came to play. I was told by multiple teams before we even started that most every team does a double or nothing right out of the gate, and oh boy were they not joking. After the first round, we have an eight way tie for first place. After a successful second round DoN, one team would maintain the lead until the final round, as All Night Rockers staged a slow and steady assault that would prove them victorious at the end.

Tonight's winning team was missing a few players, but they still won trivia "like a boss." Congrats Boss Ladies on winning 1st place! They won with a successful double in Round 5 and finished with 50 points for the win. Yes, the winning score was an unusally-low 50 points with some toughhh questions. There was also a tie for 2nd place between Uncivil Servants and Get In The Van. The tiebreaker answers were superrr close and I had to actually use a calculator to determine the difference. After a few minor/major calculations, Uncivil Servants won the tiebreaker and took 2nd place ($50). This was also their first time placing in the Top 3. Team Get In The Van settled for 3rd place and won Free Drinks (which is sorta kinda like a 1st place prize). And in last/not least place, We The People won a Free Pizza.
