QUIZ RECAP

What a blast! Definitely the highlight for me was a row of thirsty competitors balancing red cups on their opisthenar during the free beer challenge. Sad news: Cocoa Puffs, a team that has been playing trivia together for 6 years, had a farewell game for two of their members who are setting sail for uncharted trivia territory as they move from the region. Big congrats to them for playing together for so long and always bringing the competition to every game I've hosted with them. Also, well done to Mischief Managed for taking the win! Hope to see you all next week!

QUIZ RECAP

What a great team turnout tonight, including many first timers! Tonight's set of questions proved challenging all night, and very few Doubles were used.

All throughout the night, points were all over the place, and no real leaders were emerging like I typically find. The Drinking round tonight showed us who were the true rockers in the crowd, and who were the wannabes.

Finally, Round 6 saw Up In Ya (...and yes, they felt as awkward saying their name as you just were reading it) using the ONLY successful Double, and took a narrow lead heading into Round 7. Will they maintain that lead and win?

Ummm....no.

In the end, Ship of Fools squeaked by and took the lead and the win by only three points!

Great fun was had, and despite P.A. troubles, we endured the Great Shouting Quizmaster of June 2019.

QUIZ RECAP

We had quite the competition! Although only 7 groups fought to the end, not one of them ever gave up and each team brought heat to each round with surprising double-or-nothing successes that kept everyone in the bar guessing who would ultimately land on top. So many smarties but ultimately it was The Oneders that took first. Congratz to the winners and everyone else for a game well played. See you all next week!
