10 teams, all of various experience and tenure, ready to play, have fun, and win!

Mischief was the first team to use a Double, early on in Round 2, and taking a nice 9-point lead from the next best team. The Guess Who round had everyone knowing it was the Kylo Ren dude...but what the hell IS his name?? Dammit! Three teams took zero points than get a likely -1.

The Hydration Round showed us how talented a tongue our team representatives had!

While Mischief played it steady, other teams were rolling the dice and getting Doubles. In the end, it was Ship of Fools that got the top spot, and the $30 gift card. Congrats to #2 & 3, taking home a bottle of wine, and beer merchandise, respectively.

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving, so Edna Vees will be closed. Yours truly, and King Trivia, wishes all of you a very happy Thanksgiving! See you again on December 5th!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a full (public) house Friday night at Edna Vees. There was a great mix of trivia regulars and people who were up for the fun and decided to try it out! That "sexy" round threw many teams for a loop but just after the second clue for the guess who round, all the teams still in the round managed to submit a correct answer! The night was full of perfect scores and successful double or nothing's and everyone had great fun. For the beer round, the teams got to try out paper plain engineering. Some planes...quiet literally crashed...but the pilot from More Beer Plz managed to fly their plane and have a nice long smooth landing down the runway and that allowed for her plane to travel the furthest. More Beer Plz won more Beer! Perfect for their celebration!

In the end, Mischief Managed took home the first place prize and title. They were followed by the second place team, More Beer Plz and coming in third was Team America!

QUIZ RECAP

I love Edna Vees. The teams come for all different reasons (enjoy the drink and food and play trivia casually, teams that like to get competitive but only have 2-3 people to their teams, all the way to 6+ people and fiercely competitive). What do they have in common? The love of trivia, of course!

Right out of the gate, the scores were all over the board, with Ship of Fools declaring to the other teams that they mean business, using a Double immediately, and putting some serious space between and the #2 team. As the rounds went on, we had a team jump in, and another team drop out. Nevertheless, the top three teams taunted each other with their results.... but a nice competition of pick-up lines for the beer round brought some much-enjoyed levity.

How YOUdoooooin'??

At the final round, no one could catch Ship Of Fools, and they took home the bragging rights and the #1 prize. Congrats to them!

...and congrats to the Raiders. Great game!!
