Howdy y’all. We can’t wait to have ya come kick up your boots and stay awhile at El Tejano, Los Angeles’ ultimate Tex Mex hangout. The plan is to serve the usual suspects: enchiladas, queso, Frito Pie, in and amazing indoor/outdoor relaxed environment. And don’t forget the margaritas: frozen, on the rocks, with a beer in it for all we care. Just get here quick for great grub and a huge outdoor patio chalk full of games to play and TVs to watch.

Another great night of trivia at El Tejano!  17 teams pitted their wits against each other in this week's battle royale.  There was a round an a half of sports questions, which stumped the nerds like yours truly, but then the sports fans knew what it was like from an entire Harry Potter round!  The universe does love balance...

Les Quizerables took home their first victory, with 9/8 Central and Presidential Fisters taking 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

If you're planning on playing with us at the El Tej, I'd definitely recommend getting there early!

It was standing room only at El Tejano for trivia this week!  And I gotta say, even though I messed up and forgot to bring quiz books, the teams did an amazing job of using scratch paper.  It was totally organized.  Thanks everyone!

But also.  ALSO!  This game was INTENSE!! The top three teams were only separated by 2 points!

Third place went to Gazpacho with the sexiest score possible, 69 points! Saved By The Well bested them by one point to take second, and Like Winter, I'm Coming grabbed the top spot by one teeny point themselves, for their FOURTH VICTORY IN A ROW!  Whew.

It was a full boat at El Tejano this week for some truly intense trivia action!  Last week's champs, Like Winter, I'm Coming got the lead in round 4 and never let go, winning a drink round along the way!  Alas for the other teams, extra alcohol did not impede their trivia mastery.

It was a fight for second place, though!  In the end, a tie-breaker went to Rocket Surgeons, while third went to Happy Silly Faces (either of whom could have taken second just by having a team number! tsk, tsk).
