About Figurehead Brewing Company

Figurehead Brewing Company was founded in 2016 by Bob Monroe, Jesse Duncan, and Jesse Warner.

Bob and Jesse Duncan have both been homebrewers for more than a decade. They first met 7 years ago when they became neighbors and quickly learned they shared a similar passion for brewing beer and sharing it with friends. Casual discussions over homebrews about starting a brewery gradually grew more and more serious, and Figurehead Brewing was born.

Bob met Jesse Warner during a leadership class in grad school and quickly became friends during trust falls and class retreats. They finally made use of those trust falls by joining up to start Figurehead Brewing.

We had 6 teams run the gauntlet tonight, but there could only be 3 winners. In first place, Thank U, Next, with 50 points. In second, Stan Lee's True Believers (Excelsior, RIP.) with 45, and in third, Team Buppa with 36.

Another Wednesday, another 7 pm, another spooky night for trivia!

 

Everyone came dressed to the nines tonight, we had a ghost from Pac-Man, a dinosaur, and Monster from the Muppets in the house.

For the drinking round, I asked how I would die in a horror movie. The winners, Adventures in Mental Health, won the booze by regaling me with a full setup, involving cutting off my finger making sushi for my friends as we all vacationed in Fiji.

There could only be three prize winners, though. The winners were Bottom of Crystal Lake, with 50 points! In second, Manaus, with 30, and in third, Team Buppa with 25.
