About Figurehead Brewing Company

Figurehead Brewing Company was founded in 2016 by Bob Monroe, Jesse Duncan, and Jesse Warner.

Bob and Jesse Duncan have both been homebrewers for more than a decade. They first met 7 years ago when they became neighbors and quickly learned they shared a similar passion for brewing beer and sharing it with friends. Casual discussions over homebrews about starting a brewery gradually grew more and more serious, and Figurehead Brewing was born.

Bob met Jesse Warner during a leadership class in grad school and quickly became friends during trust falls and class retreats. They finally made use of those trust falls by joining up to start Figurehead Brewing.

A quiet night tonight, with one man running the gauntlet. He came out the other side, bruised, battered, and with 32 points to show for it.

We had five teams fighting it out for the prizes, but only 3 could emerge victorious.

In first, some regulars, Team Buppa, followed by The First Timers and the Dirty Sailors.

Another Wednesday, another 7 pm, another great night for trivia at Figurehead Brewing!

A busy night tonight with 5 teams.Also, the night of the Double or Nothings. The winners, Squatch, won with 53 points with TWO successful Double-or-Nothings, on rounds 1 and 7. In second place, a team ALSO with two successful Double-or-Nothings, and one unsuccessful, E=MC2, with 49 points. In third place, a solo team, Kiara, with NO double or nothings, but two rounds in which she could have used them, with 43 points

The team in fourth place, Joe's Garage, ALSO had a successful double or nothing, making tonight the most Double or Nothing attempts I've SEEN, let alone that succeeded.

Thanks as always to the wonderful staff at Figurehead, and I hope to see some of you next week to do it again.
