Opening night at Hey 19 Public House in Torrance was a great success! Had a great group of teams ready to have some fun. The staff at Hey 19 was very gracious and made sure the Quizmaster was taken care of.

All got off to a slow start but that made it fun cause every team felt like they were in the hunt for 1st place. Hey 19 also provided gift cards for $50, $25 and $10 so there was extra incentive.

Scores stayed pretty close throughout and started picking up in Round 5. It was anyone's match to win but in the end Omega took first by staying steady and finishing strong in the final round. The highlight was Cozy Corner, who were in last place, doubled correctly on the final and got the 2 extra points for turning in their pen and vaulted themselves into 2nd place! Very impressive.

In looking at the pictures of the teams I learned I need to use the flash in low light venues, sorry teams.

All in all it was a great night of KingTrivia and the teams were a lot of fun. Looking forward to next week 🙂
