QUIZ RECAP

Two of our regular teams showed up to battle at Hey 19 Public House. It was a very even match and came down to the final round. Amazingly, both teams doubled successfully and I Ran So Far Away took home the $25 gift card, beating out Every Creature by 3 points.

QUIZ RECAP

KingTrivia was on at Hey 19 Public House in Torrance last night. 7 teams ready to go including a young lady and her infant! All teams got off to a great start in Rd. 1 but after that it became a 3 team race between 3 of our regulars. Faculty Lounge is a very fun group of teachers who alway play tough. Don't Suck is a registered team currently in 48th who will be in the Tournament of Champions. Baby Yoda is a family group with little 4 year old Olive and they love to change their name every week. Baby Mama gave it her best while she was feeding her infant, so if nothing else she got the award for bravery playing by herself and tending to her baby!

It was very close between the 3 teams heading into Rd.6 but Faculty Lounge showed their knowledge of literature and double correctly to put them in a great spot. In the end, Don't Suck came in 3rd (they didn't have their full team) and we had to go to the tie break question to determine 1st and 2nd. Faculty Lounge guessed closet and got 1st and Baby Yoda took second. All threee received Hey 19 gift cards as well.

What an exciting game of trivia! 1st-3rd was highly unpredictable! Great Minds Drink Alike played a steady and consistent game. They were the only team to get the Guess Who correct on thet point clue. They're steadiness and consistency earned them third place! Shermer High also played a strong and steady game, getting a successful double or nothing in round 2, they lead for most of the game and seemed on track to take home first but out of nowhere Boogaloo Warriors came from behind to take home first. Shermer High was one La Croix away from forcing a tie breaker. Boogaloo Warriors were nearly thirty points behind going into round 6 but back to back successful double or nothings earned them top billing! Way to go teams!
