Greetings, partisans! Like you, we heard the siren song, girded our loins, and joined the cause. The cause of absolute devotion to local craft beer. Three former mild mannered chaps born and raised in Long Beach, CA. became brewing zealots, howling at the heavens:

LIBERATION!

Our brewery, forged from equal parts Mos Eisley cantina and a Tom Waits fever dream, is a mighty 5 barrel production facility with tasting room. A safe haven for workers, story tellers, shamans, down-n-out detectives, street samurai, graffiti artists, revolutionaries, punks, drunks, con artists, and pirates. Sit for a pint and a tale… or three. Cheers!

It was a super-spooky, super-fun time at this Halloween edition of King Trivia. A variety of costumed participants joined the game ranging from a witch, an M&M, and Calvin & Hobbs. While the Halloween-themed questions seemed to scare our players at first, two teams successfully got the Double-or-Nothing bonus for the Find the Connection Round, putting them ahead of the pack! It was a tight race with the aptly named Monster Mash graveyard smashing into first place. It was a great night at Liberation Brewing Co.!

Another wonderful night of trivia! The attendance this week was less than prior weeks, but that didn't change the atmosphere of the night as it was still rowdy and boisterous! Our 3rd place team "Manic Hispanic" was a band of newcomers who waddled in not even knowing what King Trivia was but they left the bar taking home the bronze medal with 36 points! Our 2nd place team "Kopi Fans" brought their wonderful yellow lab Kopi who always manages to bring a smile to peoples' faces. They got 43 points! Our champions tonight were "Anuses for Eyes" who always manage to put up a good fight with their intellect and vigor. They achieved 46 points! I'll see everybody next week where things will get a little bit SPOOKY!

Another amazing night at King Trivia! The beer was pouring and everyone was having a great time! The 3rd place team (Junky Johnny Needs His Fix) received an impressive 49 points! For the first time in my time being a Quizmaster, there was a tie for 1st place! I gave a tie-breaker question and the room was a madhouse! The team who ended up getting 2nd place was Pop Culture Idiots with 57 points! Hot Ham Water emerged victorious as our champions tonight with 58 points! I look forward to next week as we approach Halloween!
