Greetings, partisans! Like you, we heard the siren song, girded our loins, and joined the cause. The cause of absolute devotion to local craft beer. Three former mild mannered chaps born and raised in Long Beach, CA. became brewing zealots, howling at the heavens:

LIBERATION!

Our brewery, forged from equal parts Mos Eisley cantina and a Tom Waits fever dream, is a mighty 5 barrel production facility with tasting room. A safe haven for workers, story tellers, shamans, down-n-out detectives, street samurai, graffiti artists, revolutionaries, punks, drunks, con artists, and pirates. Sit for a pint and a tale… or three. Cheers!

Another amazing night at Liberation! The crowd was extra rowdy tonight (in the best way possible! This was a brewery not a library)! 5 teams battled it out tonight. "Ukrainedin the Membrane" finished in the 3rd place with 32 points. "The Loose Ones" slightly edged out the opposing team for a 2nd place spot with 34 points! Our 1st place team gambled on a couple double or nothings that paid off for them giving them 54 points! That team was "Anuses For Eyes"! Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone that came out tonight! It was a pleasure as always. See you all next Thursday!

Liberation Brewing Co. once again lived up to its name! The competition was fierce, and the 90's playlist got the audience pumped up listening to Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and many more! Generation X-Wingers flew in out of nowhere and mustered an impressive 44 points for 3rd place. Hot Ham Water kept the party going with a strong 45 points for 2nd place. The champions of the night were Pop Culture Idiots who achieved 48 points!

Trivia at Liberation this week was all about the music. Almost every round had musical questions, round 7 was all about music, and the crowd was buzzing with talk of music including a friendly reminder to me, the quizmaster that the band who wrote Hotel California is not called "The Eagles" but rather just "Eagles". I can always count on trivia crowds to keep me on my toes.

In the end We've Got Gas were the musical geniuses who walked away with first prize. Second place ended in a tie between Quid Pro Paleo and Don't Suck. Quid Pro Paleo won the tie breaker though, thus securing the second place spot.

Every Thursday at Liberation we will keep the trivia coming and the tunes rocking and rolling.
