QUIZ RECAP
Hi again, O'Donovan's!
We were off to a rough start tonight with some minor technical difficulties but you didn't let that throw you off one bit. Well... except for There's No Crying In Trivia, that is. That botched Double or Nothing really knocked you guys on your asses.
But no big! The next couple of rounds just about evened everyone out. Until we got to the Guess Who round where both There's No Crying In Trivia and Eagle Powers submitted an incorrect guess during the 10 point clue for a lovely minus one point each. I Guess Tit! and Let's Get Quizzical both waited for the four point clue to turn in a correct guess which put them in first and second place, respectively.
Our beer round was Superbowl themed this week - either the songs or artists included the names of Superbowl champion teams. Luckily, There's No Crying In Trivia finally redeemed themselves and won the free pitcher of beer.
No team is a match for I Guess Tit! when they're playing though...they locked in first place back in round three and held on to it 'til the end!

QUIZ RECAP
Well well well...it's Wednesday again. That means three teams went home with cash and the rest of you cried yourselves to sleep.
Round one showed just how much confidence There's No Crying In Trivia doesn't have in themselves. They were the only team to get all six questions correct but not check the Double or Nothing box. No worries though because they still held on to first place for the next two rounds.
In round four, we had an over confident Let's Get Quizzical turn in an incorrect guess and Too Much Sauce grab eight points with a correct guess. This really mixed things up - Too Much Sauce not only broke the their three round tie with Let's Get Quizzical, but they knocked There's No Crying in Trivia to second place!
Our beer round was a tough one this week. This time, I offered extra credit for any team that could guess the theme of the round in addition to all the songs and artists. Not one team got all songs, artists, AND the theme correct. While There's No Crying in Trivia guessed the correct theme (songs that are also TV show names), they didn't get quite enough artists and songs...leaving room for Too Much Sauce to snag the free pitcher of beer.
Round six proved Too Much Sauce and Let's Get Quizzical both know WAY too much about Olympic sports - they both turned in successful Double or Nothings, putting them in first and second place (respectively). However, as we all know...there can only be one trivia highlander. And tonight it was TOO MUCH SAUCE!

What's up O'Donovan's!
As usual, we had a couple of big, ballsy teams shoot right out the gate with successful Double or Nothings - Let's Get Quizzical and Ship of Fools (who returned after a several week hiatus). Unfortunately, that same gusto is what knocked Too Much Sauce down to last in only round two. Sorry guys, but you know the deal - don't mark that Double or Nothing box unless you're positive you're going to open a can of whoop ass on all the other teams. Ya did it to yourself.
As for our beer round this week? Let's Get Quizzical didn't let anyone else get close to winning. The theme was songs with foreign languages in the lyrics and they got every single artist and song title correct - all for the love of a pitcher of beer.
And finally, without surprise, Ship of Fools secured another first by 4 points ahead of There's No Crying In Trivia (although there might have been tonight...just a little).
