Subbed in at pineapple and had a blast! The smell of tater tots and burgers stacked to the ceiling filled the bar as teams poured pitchers of beers for their teams. The teams doubled like their ranking depended on it during round two and the teams stayed close until that sultry vixen marge found her way to the game. Celtic women were confused for thunder but the teams still held strong. Drinking round was superheroes and the winner may look evil but he's anything but corny....(except that he's made of corn...but I digress!)

QUIZ RECAP

hot out the gate, several teams doubled and retained high scores for the next few rounds. By round 4, teams were either right on the money with semi-confident guesses, or stumped with no Idea what we were guessing. A buckling down occurred, as Running With Caesars who'd been trailing joined Tequila Mockingbirds for the only successful round 5 doubles, and in round 6, we wouldn't know it, but the match was decided as in round 7, every single team successfully doubled, changing nothing about the standings.

Three Cool Boys took the trivial pitch to defend last week's excellent showing, but would they have enough to defend against the likes of There's Always Next Week, Quiz Kid Donnie Smith, and Tequila Mockingbirds? The competition was fierce, and although off to a rocky start, teams really started to collect the points from round 3 onward. Rounds 5 and 6 had almost half the teams landing double-downs, solidifying who would advance to the podium. In round 7, the only double attempts didn't land, allowing the more conservative to maintain their lead, including "We Joined in Round 3" and upset "Sweaty Breakfast" who edged out 3 Cool Boys by only 2 points!
