Another eventful night of trivia over at Red Star! We had a lot of newbie teams tonight, the regulars I guess decided to go celebrate the last week of pride. I took a little bit of umbrage with one of the questions because while whales and dolphins are closely related, technically orcas are the largest species of dolphins, not whales. But man those guys can be real jerks to seals.

Our free drink of the night went to a team that I just kept giving me funny wrong answers, team Wonder Women. You were absolute right, Diane Sawyer does look like a Barbara and Willard Scott does look like a Bob but not a robert. Also I just found out Willard Scott was a weatherman and also the OG Ronald McDonald, but I don't recommend looking up that picture. Yeesh, I'm glad they redesigned his outfit because that might give me nightmares.

Somehow we had yet another tie for first and our top two teams had to compete to find out the length of the Nile. Congrats to both teams for a fairly close number, but ultimately the trademarked team lost out to the submersibles. What a timely team name! Hope to see you both next time for another round of trivia at Red Star!

Game Rank Team # Team Name Score Teams Beaten Team Beat Average
1* 102267 Imploding submursibles 50 6 0.929

Whew what a night of trivia over at Red Star. Did you guys know that "nothing" was an Elizabethan slang term for lady parts? 'Much ado about nothing' takes a very different meaning now, huh? I wish I knew more  governors of the different states because that round really cooked my noodle tonight, but our winners for the evening got every single one correct. I wonder if they work in politics? Our free drink of the night winner went to a team that left early for saying Kathryn Bigelow had mad side eye in the photo round and they were definitely right! Hope to see you all again next week for another round of margaritas and trivia over at Red Star!

Another fun night of trivia at Red Star tonight! Lots of regulars came out, good to know the teams that show up each time to have a good laugh together. I asked the bartender for something fruity and he made me a strawberry mango lemon drop, I cannot recommend it enough you guys, Louis is the best. Am I the only one who didn't know that Buena Vista Social Club was from Cuba? I added a photo just to show you I really do play along with the rounds every night because I want to know how I would have done and man Tits n Wits kicked my butt! We had another tie breaker for second to last place (two weeks in a row?!) and this time it went to RZAs angels. Last week they were SZAs angels and I'm starting to see a pattern, I wonder whose angels they will be next week? Either way, they also won the free drink of the night for Timothee Chalamet instead of Ludwig Van Beethoven during our guess who round. You may not have gotten first, but you won my heart. Hope to see you all again next week for another Monday night at King's Trivia!
