QUIZ RECAP
Another Monday night, you know what that means? Questions galore! It may not have been a typical weather or the first day o spring, but contestants will play; rain or shine. Red Star was bumpin' hard and everyone was having a stellar night!
What a mixed bag of rounds we had. Players had to name the supporting characters from either Star Trek or Star Wars. Fashion icon & No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani was in the "guess who" spotlight. The Jazzagals did the best Scooby-Doo IMO in the "Drinking Round". Beans, beans, the musical fruit was what all connected in round five. Teams had to match the Saturday Night Live performer to the character they play. And in the final round, contestants had to list off US states and territories with women in government. So let's see which of our teams earned themselves kickass prizes.
In second to last, we have Slytherin in Your Bed with 19 points. Returning team Tacoma Supersonic earned themselves a second place spot with a total of 59 points. And the winners last night were The A&K with a whooping 65 points. Give our winners a round of applause! <clap, clap, clap>

Well, well, well! Another fan-tabulous Monday night here at Red Star! I had a wonderful co-host & shadow, Kelly, to assist me in last night's festivities. She got to train w/ the best, I tell ya what! Hahaha! We had quite the turn out last night. Also, it was the eve of Red Star's four year anniversary! Congrats! A great reason to celebrate and nosh on yummy tacos!
The rounds of the night were quite the mixed bag! Teams had to guess the celebrity by their yearbook photo. Some of them were a bit cringey, not gonna lie. There was a round dedicated to Olympic gold medal winning women. Liv Tyler was the "Guess who" star of the night. That lady is a living porcelain doll! Mathematic terms were all part of the "Find the Connection" round. Contestants had to match the artist to their original band or group they originated from. Finally, players had o list off recommended ales and ciders best enjoyed on St. Paddy's day. Alrighty, let's see how our marvelous teams did!
Antifa Super Soldiers of Cascadia scored 9 points, placing as the second to last team. In second place was Expired Candy with a tally of 53 points. Our first place winners of the night were Worst Shorts Ever (Baby Sloth) with a grand total of 67 points. Hip-hip-hooray! Amazing job, players!
I wanna give it up to Kelly, my co-host & shadow, for doing such an outstanding job. She's already at natural as a Quizmaster that'll gonna go far! Geeze, Louise! We had a stellar night here at Red Star. There were a grand total of nine teams to show off their skills. Read more to find out how our game went!
The teams had to identify the title of children's books by their illustrations. Fears and phobias were the key part of round three. "Old Town Road" rapper Lil Nas X was the "Guess Who" of the evening. Players had to draw Bugs Bunny by memory for the "Drinking Round. Betsy Ross was the missing piece in the "Find the Connection" round. And for the final round, contestants had to list off two US states and nine US state capitals with exactly 10 letters in their name. Now, for the night's winners!
Coming in second to last place was Carysn and Kenny with a total of 17 points. Smash on Dudes came in second with a 52 points. They were also the team who won the drinking round. And our brand new winners of the night were Jazzagals with a whooping total of 62. Bravo to our top teams! You rocked the joint! Hahaha!
I really wanna give props to all the teams who joined in the festivities and gave their brains a bit of a work out. Trivia is a great way to exercise the mind especially after a hard day's work.
