This Labor Day at Rocco's was filled with totally terrific trivia! 8 teams battled it out to see who was the most smartest. I loved the heart and passion that came out of "The James Bon Jovi Chances." "Hot Dog Summer" and "The Ravens" also played well! I was also pleasantly surprised by "Boner Pills" ability to give the other teams a run for their money. "Boardwalk 11" came in THIRD place with 48 points. Just squeaking by them with 49 points to grab SECOND place was "Hugh Jazz." "Hugh Jazz" also won the Drinking Round because they could suck the longest! (You had to be there. ;)) FIRST place was nabbed by "Don't Suck" who apparently doesn't. They maintained a healthy lead throughout the evening and ended with an impressive 67 points!! Congratulations to everyone and thanks for another enjoyable evening of King Trivia.

Seven teams, including several regulars, popped in for a night of trivia at Rocco's this Monday. Gym Fam and Frisky Kitties came out swinging early with double-or-nothings, while the production company logos of Cannon Films and Orion proved difficult to identify even in this LA based crowd. Boardwalk 11 jumped into a tie for first with Gym Fam with a successful double or nothing in Round 3, and put it away for good with successful double or nothings in rounds 5 and 6. Gym Fam tried to double-or-nothing the final round, but their lack of knowledge of small Starbucks drinks meant that they came up short (get it?). The drinking round prize went to Toy Meets World, who came up with the funniest sports nickname that didn't appear on the matching round, which probably shouldn't be reprinted here.

Four teams doubled in the first round, kicking off a competitive, high scoring night at Rocco's. Newcomer Toy Meets World's double in round 3 put them ahead of the pack, but they would relinquish the lead when Area 51 and the Painted Taints doubled in round 5. Toy Meets World would recapture it with the only double of round 6, only to be edged out once again by Area 51 in the final round. Painted Taints finished third.
