A pair of regulars threatened to dominate Monday night at King Trivia. But a game that had a new team join every round, including 7.... saw the upstarts who happened to be sitting on the bar as this golden voice came over the microphone, sitting in 3rd heading into the final round used their knowledge of the NFL to forge a last second tie with Paddington Kills
Then the right place, right time comes down to putting 4 digits on a paper, but when you needed to write 5, only your tie-breaking competitor uses a lower number, you really don't...and voila we have a King Trivia Monday night Rocco's champ.
And this is how a little game, on a quiet night in Culver City becomes something bigger...

A weird, but good, vibe combined with an NBA game 7 mixed with some end of holiday weekend blues led to a 3 team race for the championship belt on this Monday. And when you know your politics, you know your politics -- and a double-or-nothing about VPs rocketed the previously disappointed Sad Rockets (just couldn't outgun the Warriors without Chris Paul) to a Monday night title.
Itty Bitty! was back, winning the drink round, and overcoming an early unsuccessful double attempt to get themselves more Rocco's dollars.
And, here we go again :), Mr. T says Rocco's Bucks are Cool... Foo! - once again on the podium.

A super intimate King Trivia Monday night at Rocco's in Culver City led to a very competitive, fun little evening. The Artist Formerly Known as Team Z, recruited a few more, became The Chaps -- knew some music to win a free round of drinks, and upped the trivia game to edge out the Itty Bitty!!! squad to find themselves in 3rd.
First was a race between series regulars, with Shhh!! I'm watching volleyball using a uniquely strong knowledge of music release years to propel to the led, that they held on by 6 over weekly money placers Curling is Cool Fool
