QUIZ RECAP

The night had a much more mature vibe considering I am now a year older than last week. As an elderly soul, I have much wisdom and plenty of hip hurting trivia for all my favorite nerds and geeks alike.

The night started out strong, with teams Isle of Misfits and Funky Wagnalls tied for the lead until round 4, when Isle of Misfits came in hot with an 8 point win.

The Misfits held their spot until round 5 when team Nobody Expects the Inquizition doubled down successfully, taking the lead and, ultimately, the first place prize! Nicely done!!

QUIZ RECAP

The night was almost cold, but the trivia was hot...

Team Ivan is Late doubled down first round and quickly had to change their name to Ivan is Here because, well, Ivan finally decided to show his face. They held that lead til the bitter end, ultimately gaining 72 points and the number one spot. Congrats my lovelies!!

Thank you to Rok House and a big ear scratch to the SIX dogs/puppies that wagged their tails into my heart! We'll see you all next Thursday!

QUIZ RECAP

I sat at my table, beer in hand, lazy eye a little lazier than normal, awaiting the parade of smartie-pants I have come to hold so dear.

They arrive! One by one. Smiles. Nods. An odd wink. Trivia is about to begin. I click on some Indigo Girls and clear my throat.

Cut to round 1 when team Trap Queens successfully double down and take the early lead. They hold it, but not for long. The Funky Wagnalls come out swinging in the 3rd round, pushing them into a tie. The race was tight, just one point stood between them...

Cut to round 6, when the Funky Wagnalls DD yet again, leaving team Trap Queens in the glorious dust of second place.

Ahem.
