QUIZ RECAP

1. Trivia Thursday is always raucous at the Rok House, and today was no different. The winners, Born 2 Runner Up, took an early lead but lost it after an unsuccessful Double or Nothing on Round 3. Never quite out of the fight, though, they retook the lead on a wild Round 7, getting all ten answers correct for a successful Double. Although, the most interesting turn of the night was during Round 4, and the subject of Tim Tebow came up. Well, you know, he had just signed a minor league baseball contract with the Mets, and I couldn't resist asking for the crowd's opinion. Funny enough, the conversation quickly devolved into a list of great College Quarterbacks who sucked in the NFL (our drunken list included Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russel, Matt Leinart, and Mark Sanchez, although someone pointed out that the last one was still in the league). Anyways, after a few minutes, I realized that I hadn't even read out the correct answer. No one seemed to mind. Really, majorly fun night.

QUIZ RECAP

Crazy game tonight. Started out slow, with only one team successfully doubling in round one, but several teams caught up later and came back with a vengeance. A new team took the lead in each of the last four rounds. The winning team took first in the seventh round on a successful double. Oh, and Nate from Etiwanda Roadhouse dropped by for some shenanigans. I can only imagine that next week will be even crazier.

Fierce competition this night. The lead was held by 4 different teams throughout the night. World War Z took the win, in a come-from-behind victory. They took the lead in round four but lost it in six, only to win it back by a point in the final round. The questions were tough, but everyone kept fighting. Several teams attempted to double or nothing and came up empty. There was only a three point difference between first and third place. A fun and wild night.
