The whole night was dominated by our top 3 teams. It came down to veteran players Triviasaurus Rex and Let's Get Quizzical who had to solve a tiebreaker about the maximum bells in the newest Animal Crossing. Though the correct answer was 99,999, the two answers were 69 and 999,999 so by a stroke of luck/genius the number 69 won out overall.

My dad joined us at Short Path this evening and although he got last place, he did get to see how fun trivia night gets. With many lead changes through the night it all came down to the final question and who knew their newspapers better. Let's Get Quizzical took home second place after a tie breaker against The Party Company 3. But holding their lead nearly the entire game was Snakes who took home gold.

A well rounded night of questions resulted in a lot of right answers and subsequently a lot of high scores from our teams. Our easiest Round 5 in weeks gave an easy 20 points for 4 of our 7 teams and in the end, that was the defining split in scores. Triviasaurus Rex and Kristin, Kristen and Co. had to vie for 3rd place after a last round tie. Team Name fought hard for their win and walked away with the $30 first place prize.
