The people who ventured into the frigid January weather after the New Year's weekend were treated to a personal and perhaps a more unhinged version of our regular Wednesday night trivia. Our teams were met with a challenging batch of questions from the King Trivia minds, as well as a bonus round a la a Price is Right Showcase Showdown. Returning champs Fox and the Hound took the other teams to the cleaners BUT those other teams were part of a historic first in my time hosting: though it was to determine 2nd and 3rd place, this was the first time a tiebreaker was held at Short Path Distillery. Truly one for the books.

QUIZ RECAP
Just days leading up to the new year, our friends at Short Path joined us once again for a night of trivia. Five teams were involved and all had a chance to drive home with a gift card in tow. Though we had some latecomers to the evening, everyone did their best and gave their competitors a run for their money. Up until the 5th round, Trivia and Tonic and Taco Cheese Chums 4eva!!! were vying for first place. The tables turned for a final time when T&T had a near clean sweep on our matching round about what apps do what. Knowing the rules of Fight Club AND Gremlins came in handy in the final round where duo Trivia and Tonic inevitably took the victory and their well-earned $30 gift card.

QUIZ RECAP
Even though the holidays are in full swing, trivia at Short Path Distillery is thriving! Five teams joined us again this week for our holiday themed questions. Jack Skellington made a guest appearance as the star of our Guess Who round and each answer in our Find the Connection round started with a letter that spelled out the Christmas classic Home Alone. To change up the gameplay however, and give my own special gift to one of our teams, I had each team guess how many Nicolas Cage movies I have seen. With the highest guess of 75 (and closest to the real answer 78) Too Cool for Yule took home a brand new laundry detergent and later on, a second place finish. It was truly a magical night with some of our best competitors and best team names I've seen yet.
