Man-oh-man! The Back Door Bakery Cafe was HOPPIN' last night during our weekly trivia soiree! Royai (photo #1 above) took first place honors with a robust 75-point performance, followed by Hodge Podge in second with 58 solid points.
But the real battle took place for the third place position, with Jen Kennings and Trivia>Corona Virus locked in a tie after regulation play with matching scores of 57, just one point behind the second place winners! Not THAT is some solid competition!
Jen Kennings won the nail-biter tie breaker, but Trivia>Corona Virus won this quizmaster's heart with their excellent team name. Thanks for the positive energy, friends!
And speaking of winning hearts, take a look at Jaxon - a very cool kid - in photo number 2! You (and your 31 points) ROCK, Jaxon! Glad to meet you!

It was a neck-and-neck fight to the finish this week at The Back Door Bakery Cafe in beautiful Sunland/Tujunga. The winning necks were attached to the fine friends of Jen Kennings (photos #1 and #2) , who took the top spot with a strong effort in the final round.
That strong effort bested the deranged women of Shane Maidelas (photos 4 & 5) who - as you can see - took their second-place finish in excellent stride.

It was Mr. & Ms. Swiss (photo #1) for the win this week at the Back Door Bakery Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga. Their robust 77-point performance bested frequent top performers Hodge Podge (photos 6,7 & 9), who finished a strong second nonetheless.
But in a stunning development, the large, rowdy, unruly women (and a fella) known as Shana Maidelas (2 & 4) were outgunned by La Dee Dah (photo #3) in a nailbiter that ended with Dee enjoying a one-point victory!!
We do have us some rowdy, unruly fun at the BDB. It's even a terrific spot for celebrating a birthday. Isn't that right, Robin? (photo 2, wearing her crown). Happy birthday, kiddo. Here's to many, many more.
