Here at The Local, we strive to support our SCV community by participating in events that we can to help where we can. We are a family owned business that is run by Local people for Local people. By partnering with a local brewer we have developed our very own Charity Ale. 10% of every pint we sell along with a % of all of our apparel sales go back to The Carousel Ranch in Agua Dulce. We hope that you will take a break in your day and come visit us to watch a game, play a game or just relax with friends and family. Another great night of trivia at The Local! This week saw a lot of first-time players testing out the trivia waters. Team Redundancy Team began their domination in Round 1, by being the only team to get all the answers right. They did the same in Round 2, but were too nervous to double on these first 2 rounds. Still, they held the lead by 4 points. Teams did pretty well in Round 3, but again Team Redundancy Team did best; this time by doubling down!

The Guess Who Round was interesting. Teams either got the answer on the 6 point clue, or didn't get the answer at all. Who Sunk My Battleship got 9 points in Round 5, only missing one question. Team Redundancy Team was right behind them with 8 points in the round. Table 503 were the standouts in Round 6, getting 8 points.

At this point in the game Grains of Salt was behind by 15 points. They went all-in for Round 7 by doubling. They were so close to a last-minute placement, but failed by missing one question. Who Sunk My Battleship got 9 points and earned 2nd place! Team Redundancy Team only got 6 points in the round, but their strong early game kept them securely in the lead to get the win!

Quiz In Your Pants started strong by getting six points in Round 1, with no other team being able to score above 4 points. In Round 3, No Regrets doubled, putting them just 3 points behind first place. Half the teams lost a point during the Guess Who Round, And Quiz In Your pants did the best with 6 points. The other teams that scored only got 2 points. This one was definitely tough. Quiz In Your Pants continued their domination throughout the night, getting the win! Mad Again won 2nd by playing a nice consistent game.

Almost all teams struggled in Round 1. The Picture Round saw four teams double. Two of those teams, Local Visitors and Trivia Specialists, doubled in Round 3 as well. Trivia Specialists held the lead by 2 points. Local Visitors took the lead in Round 4 by guessing correctly in the 10 point clue. From that point on they were the team to beat, and win the game on the end!
