It was a busy trivia night at The Local. 15 teams tested their knowledge of useless information. This game saw a lot of double or nothing attempts, with most of them being failures. Tuesday Boozeday managed to take the win with three successful doubles, despite failing the Guess Who Round.
Another lively game of trivia at The Local! The General Knowledge Round proved difficult for all teams except for No Promises, No Demands. My Drinking Team Has A Trivia Problem was the standout team in the Picture Round, getting 7 points.
Two teams tried to double in Round 3: No Regrets and Touched By An Uncle. No Regrets ended up regretting their attempt, as they got 0 points for the round. Touched By An Uncle, on the other hand, were successful and earned 12 points! The Guess Who Round proved difficult for all except The Stars and Touched By An Uncle.
The Stars continued their rise in Round 5, getting 9 answers correct. They had trouble in Round 6, where they had to match phone models to the company that makes them. Other teams did well, and now the top 5 teams were all within 5 points of each other. Round 7 saw 3 teams double! The Stars, No Promises No Demands, and My Drinking Team Has A Trivia Problem all doubled for 18 points.
At the end of it all, My Drinking Team Has A Trivia Problem won, and The Stars earned second place!
Teams put their trivia knowledge to the test on Tuesday night, and it was a very competitive game. Quiz In Your Pants and Concentration Champs got perfect scores in the General Knowledge Round, but didn't take the risk to double. The Grains Of Salt did take that chance in Round 2, and earned themselves 16 points and the lead.
California/Georgia Line doubled in Round 3. This got them to second place, with 24 points. At this point, Charles Sucks was frustrated with their poor performance and last place status. They offered to trade a player (presumably Charles) with another team, but didn't have any takers. For the Guess Who Round a lot of teams got 10 points by guessing Ken Jeong. Other teams got thrown off by the doctor clue and immediately guessed Dr. Drew, losing themselves a point. RAD doubled in Round 5, getting them to a tied third place.
Round 6 was surprising, because every team got all the answers right! They all doubled, except for Grains of Salt, which proved to be a costly mistake. For Round 7, Charles Sucks doubled and won the game with a whopping 75 points! Most other teams tried to double, but failed. We had two teams tied for second place, so we went to a tie breaker. The two teams had to guess the amount of eggs in the world's largest omelette. Both teams guessed extremely low numbers, but RAD was closest, beating Quiz In Your Pants, and putting them in the money.
Thanks to all the teams for a playing such an exciting game, and I hope to see you next week!
