A boisterous crowd gathered this night, loud and full of laughter. Twinkie Time jumped to an early lead with a successful Double-or-Nothing in Round 1, and they stayed for the entire game. Tater Tots, Quiz In My Pants, and Extra Anchovies all battled for the second spot, coming within a couple of points of the lead several times, but ultimately unable to prevail.
Meanwhile, Hoppitty-Hop (aka Poppitty-Pop) and ODBs (who just needed more beer) seemed to be battling for funniest incorrect answers. My favorite this week was from Round 2: "That one rapper guy whose name sounds like a duck."
An honorable mention goes to Extra Anchovies for their victory in the drink round and a fond farewell to Twinkie Time, who are moving to Pasadena this week, I hope you find another King Trivia game near your new home.

For the third week in a row, Chungus Among Us (who referred to themselves as the "Patriots of King Trivia") left the rest of the pack behind. 311 Rams got off to a good jump and We Thought This Was Speed Dating hovered near the top of the standings for a few rounds, but Oh Canada! and Twinkie Time managed to fight their way to the top and battle it out for second place. Honorable mention to Torred Chargers for the best/funniest incorrect answers throughout the night.

In spite of the chilly, rainy weather, a good sized crowd came out to play at The Local. Last week's winners, Chungus Among Us as well as No Promises, No Demand both got a jump start with successful Double-or-Nothings right out of the gate.
Round 2 took a toll with most teams missing a few points, except for Smarty Pants who got all 8 and #Don'tReallyWantToPlay who got a successful Double-or=Nothing to vault into the lead.
Round 3 is where the teams started to shake out as Submar, The Jabronis, LarrySellsYourHouse.com, Twinkle Time and R+C all totalled scores in the teens, but still trailing the early leaders.
Round 4 cost a point to Submar and R+C for wrong guesses. Only Chungus Among Us got the answer from the 10 point clue while most of the remaining teams gained 4 points.
Round 5 and 'Find the Connection' found favor with a few teams, although Smarty Pants and R+C fell further behind. During Round 6, #Don'tReallyWantToPlay nailed their Double-or-Nothing which hopped them into 2nd place going into the final round.
The last round found half the field going for Double-Or-Nothing, but no one managed to get it. After the dust had settled, Quizin Your Pants held 3rd, #Don'tReallyWantToPlay was 2nd and for the second week in a row Chungus Among Us took the top spot.
Honorable mention to Submar for the drink round win.
