QUIZ RECAP

Upon entering the Local Wine & Craft Beer Lounge, located in La Mirada, one immediately notices smiling faces, laughter, excitement. That can only mean one thing: it's King Trivia night! By game time, 6 teams both veteran and newcomer line up to win The Local's great prizes. Which team would it be? After 3 rounds of competitive play, only a few points separate 1st place from 6th place. It was still anyone's game! The smiling faces, laughter, and competitve excitement continue. During round 4, Team Fearsome Threesome pull slightly ahead, but only 4 points separate the next 4 teams. Round 5 brought the teams even closer. Round 6 was no less of a nail biter, with Team Ibarra joining the game! After a fiercely fun and exciting game, Team Fearsome Threesome emerged victorious. The Pounders and the Nubies finished out 2nd and 3rd respectively. The contestants had fun! They can't wait for next time!

The Local Wine & Craft Beer Lounge, hip and happening, filled gradually but steadily. By 7:00 pm, contestants eager for trivia arrived in droves. By game time, 5 thoroughbred teams stood at the gate; the race was on. The Local's gamesters put on quite a performance, with Team Hank and ThePounders jockeying for the lead for half the game. Team Hank emerged victorious after a hard-won triumph. ThePounders sure gave them a run for their money, however. Team Name and Shrek is love, Shrek is life never gave up the struggle either. Though the air was rife with friendly competitiveness, the spirit of holiday fun pervaded. Nothing's better than a good trivia night!
