The word is getting out! Thursday Night King Trivia at the Local Wine and Craft Beer Lounge is the hottest thing going in La Mirada. If you're here, you know it's true. If you're not, why aren't you here?

One of the thrills of hosting trivia is when there is a close game that has an unexpected twist at the end. For most of the game, The Golden Revengers held a comfortable lead, but at the very end, the Heavensent Degenerates pull an amazing Double or Nothing out in the final round to just squeak by with the victory.

You're probably wondering how I got here...

The 91 to Bloomfield to Alondra to La Mirada to Santa Gertrudes and into the parking lot. Didn't take half an hour, but it was all worth it to be here tonight to join old friends and new for another fantastic night of trivia.

Seven great teams went head to head for seven rounds of knowledge, with some rounds taxing even the professors of two teams. But, in the end, those big brains would take first place from some of our better and more established teams.

And good luck to Kristy, who is moving to Washington State next week, and joined us for her final game here tonight.
