QUIZ RECAP
It was a night of opposites at The Local Wine and Craft Beer Lounge. There were questions about oxymoronic video games, highs and lows, and a topsy turvy shakeup of winners and losers.
The most frequent winner from past weeks of trivia, the Double D's, had a round one double-or-nothing gone wrong. They tried their hardest to come back, but ended the game in a tie for last place, leaving the top spots open for a new challenger. And a new challenger came in the unexpected form of Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles...aka The Powerpuff Girls. The Powerpuff Girls managed to secure a first place victory, but it didn't always look so good for these heroes of sugar, spice, and everything nice. Instead of squaring off against Mojo Jojo, The Powerpuff girls found themselves doing battle with the Porn Stars (there's a sentence I never thought I would write). The Porn Stars had the lead going into the last round, but then the Powerpuff girls managed to pull off a last round double-or-nothing to snag first place with 65 points. Also an honorable mention to the Golden Revengers, our third place team.
Between the ups and downs, highs and lows, and plenty of alcohol, it was an evening of heroic proportions at The Local Wine and Craft Beer Lounge.

Another great night of trivia at the Local Wine & Craft Beer Lounge, with three new teams going up against three of our regulars, fighting for domination of the trivia world. It was a close race for the entire game, with two teams bouncing back and forth for first and second place, until they finished with a tie. But thanks to one player's knowledge of local mountain heights, Pron Stars finish atop the leaderboard.
