QUIZ RECAP

       Today we had three teams show up to our Christmas / Chanukah / Festivus / Kwanza / Etc. Year Ending Holiday Trivia blowout. No Christmas Music was played we did play the Chanukah SongThese teams were Birdboozled, E=MC Hammered, and Free Drinks!!!.   Birdboozled had a teammate with a correct answer overruled to help E=MC Hammered get out to an early lead. They were able to make this up to have a tie at 11 through 2 rounds. In round 4 we had Free Drinks!!! correctly identify Jack Skellington at 10 points recognizing him in some of his cameo appearances. Round 5 had two team attempt a Double but only Birdboozled would convert. I also decided to instate a drinking round into the game todays challenge was a speed round at who could name Santa's 9 reindeer the fastest. Birdboozled won the drinking round and was awarded 2 bonus points. E=MC Hammered doubled down on the state flowers to make this a competitive game. 

       Birdboozled took home a victory for the holidays. We also had multiple people bring various festive baked goods! Really grateful for the rapport we've built as some of the regulars and appreciate everyone making time during the Holidays to come out and play King Trivia! See everyone next Wentzday at 7 P.M. 

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was a real barn burner that came down to the wire. Both teams Birdboozled and E=MC Hammered were neck and neck throughout the game. It all came down to the knowledge of who was in the little known classic, "Love Actually" to break the stalemate. Turns out Birdboolzed had a High Grant groopie on the team that led them to victory. They also came away with the perfect paper airplane that landed them a round of free beers, in the bonus driking round, to complete a successful night. Congratuations to all our winners for an eventful night of King Trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

       Today was our first show to be held with it below freezing. However there would be no brain freezes today for Birdboozled or Purley Casual. With two teams we had a trivia duel set to happen. Birdboozled came prepared to battle with one of their players ordering an "everything on tap" flight. The Cliff Clavin logic prevailed here as Birdboozled hit a Double or Nothing in round 2 to get out to a lead. Both teams were able to correctly answer the Guess Who. Round 5 there was an aha moment on the theme as I began to unveil answers. Birdboozled would go on to victory!

      With only two teams today was a little fast. So we made a team pint bet on the tiebreaker which Purely Casual was able to win by guessing within 200 miles. Thanks everyone for coming out today and we will see everyone at 7P.M. next Wednesday!
